By joining the ACM, you will have a chance to meet new people and learn new skills in the computing world. Much of our activities are not covered in the classroom; we use our skills and knowledge and use them in today's business world. Since our professors cannot cover every aspect of computing, some of our own knowledge is gained by others sharing their knowledge with us.

However, we're not always into learning and working. A good portion of our time is spent hanging out with each other and having fun. When the weather is nice, we tend to have a free cookout every two weeks; when it's not, we like to watch movies and have some pizza and wings in the process. This is also a great opportunity to get to know your professors and peers.
